As long as we are writing letters to people we are mad at I thought I would ride this coat tail and post my own open letter (if that's ok).

Dear Mr. Prebble (President & CEO)

I paid to have my trash collected every Tuesday, since signing up for your service over a month ago you have not been by to collect it. It had been piling at the end of my driveway and today, I got another bill from you.

I tried to call your company several times and left numerous messages. No one has returned my calls.

So that is why I took all of my garbage and drove it over to your big-fancy-house and left it at your door step, along with a bill for gas, milage, labor and the three hours I missed of my Saturday morning off.

I agree. The 10% increments is annoying and inflexible.

Other gripes about Ai CS6 include:
• not being able to type Pantone values via the keyboard in the Color Picker.
WTF???

• Rectangle tool dialogue removed the ability to populate either Width or Height field by simply clicking on the field's name. Ex: if Width was set to 500px, clicking on the word Height would populate it with 500px.

• In the Swatch Options, you used to be able to scroll through the Color Modes by holding Shift and clicking on the square color preview icon. You used to also be able to get the compliment by holding Control (Windows) / Command (Mac). Neither feature works anymore.

So much for making the workflow easier. Why take out features that work?

This bugged me too. The one saving grace is that while the cursor is hovering over the opacity value, you can scroll (or on a MacBook, 2-finger swipe up/down) to change the value instantly to preview changes. This lets you keep your eye on your work instead of the annoying back-and-forth with the infuriating percentage menu.

Don't even get me started on the video files that used to open up fine in previous versions of Premiere Pro but don't anymore, or the video files that should open up in Audition but don't.

You weren't harsh enough. I'm screaming at Adobe on a regular basis every time I discover yet another interface/behavior change that not only worked perfectly fine, but I was extremely efficient with. These "useless" cosmetic changes mean re-learning the workflow. Annoying, aggravating, and Unfreakinbelievable. Who the F*** asked for this? What focus group studies told Adobe to screw over their legions of power users?

These will be available in v1.3

Offline maps are coming.

Hey Steve, Love this app, accuracy is amazing. Can't wait to get to Niseko. A couple of great features included in Motion X - Share your location with broadcast position. Map storage onboard for offline access. If you added these this app would be even cooler

My name is Steve and i'm the lead developer on Ski Tracks and we are committed to make Ski Tracks the best possible mountain app.

With reference to the max speed - we recognise there is an overspeed issue on some tracks and this is caused by invalid altitude data that we now process and filter differently. A new version (1.2.4) will be available shortly and once upgraded all tracks will be calculated and max speed should be accurate.
